War
Coffinbots vs the Man
Steam’s about-text is the war brief: the Breathedge Corporation started a galaxy-wide war, built Coffinbots, and attacked the largest human settlements. After the Man and a spacesuit AI derailed a swift takeover, he became their number-one target. Then the heroes are attacked by their own allies. Steam leaves who-attacked-whom unanswered. This page is that faction table, not a fabricated bestiary. Galaxy-wide war, Coffinbots, largest human settlements, number-one target, then an attack by allies: that is the entire about-text spine. This page tables those four records. It will not add elite names from a datamine. String lights and a red beacon in the wreck still are atmosphere, not loot pins.
| Name | Type | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Breathedge Corporation | faction | Started a galaxy-wide war, built Coffinbots, attacked the largest human settlements. |
| Coffinbots | enemy-army | Hostile army; the Man is their number-one target after disrupting a swift takeover. |
| attack by allies | plot-turn | Plot turn after the Coffinbot fight: the heroes are fired on by their own side. Steam never names the shooter. |
| human settlements | world | The war already hit the biggest human cities. What remains is fringe inhabited space, which is where you scavenge. |
Breathedge Corporation
The antagonist organisation is named Breathedge Corporation in English store copy. Japanese Steam uses ブレスエッジ社. Russian uses Корпорация Бресидж. Those officialTerms stay locked for later locales. The Corporation started the war, built the army, and hit the largest human settlements. Fringe inhabited space is the survival setting that remains.
There is no published org chart, CEO name or stock ticker. Do not invent one. The war is the reason The Outskirts looks like wreckage and why Coffinbots are hostile instead of set dressing.
Japanese Steam prints ブレスエッジ社 for the Corporation. Russian prints Корпорация Бресидж. English keeps Breathedge Corporation. Those three spellings are the official set. Do not invent a fourth. The Corporation built the army; it is not a craftable faction reputation bar.

Coffinbots
Coffinbots are the hostile army. The Man is their number-one target after disrupting a swift takeover. An official still of a debris field with string lights, a red beacon, a one-eyed robot and broken station rings is bound to this route. Treat that robot as the visual for the army, not as a named elite with a HP bar.
Combat on the oxygen page is occasional: fight, run, shove. This page identifies the enemy. It does not list spawn tables. If a later update names Coffinbot subtypes, they belong in News and then as extra rows here.
A one-eyed robot in the debris still is the closest official Coffinbot picture in the sealed set. It shares the route with this page only. Hostility is store fact. HP, armor and weak points are not. Run, fight or shove, as the survive pillar already said.

Attacked by allies
After surviving Coffinbots, Steam says the heroes are attacked by their own allies. The sentence is deliberately unresolved. This wiki will not pick a culprit to fill the gap. The plot turn exists so you do not read the Corporation as the only gun in the sky.
Babe, the Chicken, the suit AI and the Mechanic are crew, not confirmed shooters. Anyone telling you a specific ally pulled the trigger is ahead of the about-text. Keep the question visible and play the chapter in front of you.
Steam leaves the ally attack unresolved on purpose. Filling it with a YouTube theory would be fanfic. Babe, Chicken, suit AI and Mechanic are not accused here. The plot turn exists so the war has more than one gun. Play the chapter; do not crowdsource a traitor list.

Human settlements
Largest human settlements were attacked. Fringe inhabited space is where you scavenge. Abandoned stations, ruined settlements and shipwrecks are the explore pillar. None of those nouns come with coordinates. Depot remains a video title, not a settlement id.
The shuttle cabin still and the clustered spacecraft still show how you might move between wrecks later. Personal spacecraft and warp-jump are listed as remaining work, not as finished 1. 0-only secrets. See the shuttle page for that split.
Abandoned stations, ruined settlements and shipwrecks are explore-pillar nouns. Fringe inhabited space is the survival setting. Largest settlements were already attacked, which is why you are on the edge. Depot is still only a clip title. No census was published. The wreck-lights still on this route is the official debris picture: string lights, a red beacon, a one-eyed robot and broken station rings against stars. Use it as the Coffinbot visual, then go EVA in The Outskirts instead of waiting for a settlement map Steam did not ship. The store explore pillar also names crew and fringe settlements in the same breath as wreckage, which is why this faction page links the war to the first chapter instead of inventing a second map URL. Honor Dojo and IGN do not add Coffinbot subtypes. Bleeding Cool dated the Early Access day; it did not publish an army roster. If a later news post names a Coffinbot class, it becomes a new row here after it is dated on News.
